The reason Mamdani and Trump got along in their meeting on the 21st of November 20251 is, well, first above all else Trump seems to love hanging out with popular celebrities who are nice to him, and Mamdani made sure to be charming.

So there's a lot of hate for Muslims out there and it's rising here at the end of 2025. One of the main avenues of attack is how terrible Sharia Law is, and I took these attacks very seriously when they flared up 24 years ago near the end of 2001. So much so that, unsatisfied with the social media takes on Sharia, I researched and read about its history and its mechanics.
Accurately and precisely defining a problem is the first step to solving it. What that means is not having a precise and accurate definition is the best way for malicious actors to prevent them from being solved. And I think that's exactly why we don't have a good term for the group of countries that are responsible for the most evil in the world today.
